Creating an account

To access STEM Learning resources and advertise activities you first need to create an account.

When signing up for your account you have the option of registering as someone working in education or as a youth or community group leader:

- Working in education: If you are a teacher, technician, trainee teacher or working in an education setting (including colleges).

- Youth or community group leader: If you are the leader or manager of a youth, community group or non-school based group

Select the one appropriate to you and you will be asked to complete a simple two-step form.

Once you have completed this form you will be sent an email asking you to confirm your email.

Now you're ready to start advertising your activities.

Request a STEM Ambassador

Once you have your account you are ready to request a STEM Ambassador. There are two ways you can do this:

1. Advertise your own activity for STEM Ambassadors to find

2. View offers created by STEM Ambassadors

View STEM Ambassador Offers

Step 1: Sign in at www.stem.org.uk/dashboard

Step 2: Select "Offers" and "Browse offers" in the menu on your online dashboard. This will display all available STEM Ambassador offers

Step 3: Click on any offer to see more details

Step 4: Once you have found a STEM Ambassador offer that you are interested in select "Express interest" found at the bottom of the page. This will send a message to the STEM Ambassador

Step 5: You can view offers you have expressed interest in on your dashboard by selecting "Offers" and "My offers" on the menu

Step 6: You and the STEM Ambassador can use the database to send a message to agree a date and time to run the activity

Step 7: Once this has been agreed the STEM Ambassador will accept the offer. You will then need to create an activity. To do this, navigate to the "My offers" section and the offer will have been updated to "Request accepted". Selecting this will give you the option to "Create an activity"

Step 8: Complete all the relevant information in the form. Once completed both you and the STEM Ambassador will receive a notification that the event has been completed.

Step 9: Complete your activity

Step 10: Give us feedback on your activity
