Dundee Science Festival

Dundee Science Festival is an exciting and city-wide festival that has opportunities for anyone to get involved in a vibrant programme of events that inspire people of all ages to explore and understand the world around them, to discover and enjoy science and understand its relevance to their own lives!

Adapting to our changing world, Dundee Science Festival is also changing this year, combining a range of activities from digital engagement, in centre make & take workshops and home kits over three weekends in November.

14 - 15 November - Climate & Space

A passion for healthy planet, we explore the role we play and how the smallest changes can make a positive impact on climate change. Join us as we explore the universe, from the moon, and astronauts to how we are using satellites to help in the fight against climate change.

21 – 22 November - Life Science & Human

People, connection and wellbeing has never been more important than it is now. Join us and discover how we keep ourselves healthy, well and our bodies safe! The Human body is amazing and capable of so much, but sometimes we need a little extra help, find out how medical professionals prevent and treat diseases as well help fix our bodies from accidents.

28 – 29 November - Engineering & Technology

Have you ever wondered how things work, wondered why they were designed the way they were, then join us as we explore the world of Engineering and Technology. Discover how the amazing things around us were designed to make our lives easier and what would the world be like without them.

Dundee Science Festival are looking for enthusiastic, inspiring and passionate individuals or organisations to contribute to the event. Ideally, you should have knowledge and experience in one of the themes above and may want to host a digital activity or talk; maybe share your wisdom through a practical activity in the centre. They are also happy to have organisations and communities be part of the festival if there is already something planned and taking place they could support in marketing the events.

If you would like to be involved in any way at all this year then please contact
